A function has been added to the elem file format to allow output of heat generation density.
Explanation
By setting HEAT=2, the heat generation density can be added to the elem file format. This can be used as a data transfer to thermal analysis.
The file format is as follows.
- “Element ID”
- “Property ID”
- “Element center XYZ coordinates ($m$)”
- “Heat generation density ($W/m^3$)”
