Table 2 shows the input format for the time-dependent variable resistance element (VR). While a constant resistance value ($\\Omega$) is entered for the resistance element ($R$), for the variable resistance element, the time variation of the resistance value is specified by a time variation identification number (TIME_ID). A variable resistance element ($VR$) can be given a step change in resistance as shown in Table 3. In this example, the resistance is zero from time 0 to 0.1 second, and 1 $k \\Omega$ from 0.1 to 0.2 seconds. (This data is equivalent to the data for the switch used in the <a href=\"\/product\/EMSolution\/en\/case\/powersource\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" style=\"display:inline\"><font color=\"Red\">&quot;Improvement of Power Supply Input Method&quot;<\/font><\/a>.) Of course, a continuous resistance change can also be analyzed. The analysis results of this example are shown in Fig. 2 and are in good agreement with the analysis values calculated from the resistance and inductance of the coil.  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Table 1.
